APPLICATION & REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS:
BRLS Mounts work great on any clean, smooth surface, and even work on many curved surfaces!
Please note, BRLS mounts will not work on porous or uneven surfaces like wood or stone.
How to apply
CHOOSE AND PREP YOUR SURFACE
Protect your investment and ALWAYS properly prepare your mounting surface! Remove all traces of salt, dirt, sand, wax or other debris. Wash surface with fresh water, treat the area with rubbing alcohol as necessary to remove any glues or gums, and rewash with fresh water (use of hand soap is recommended). Do not mount your BRLS over cracks, pressure dings, voids, stickers, paint, or other areas that may reduce the ability of the suction cups from holding a vacuum. The strength of your mount directly depends on how well you prep your mounting surface. When done properly, you'll be amazed how strong it is!
PRESS FIRMLY
Firmly press each mounting foot onto a prepped surface. We have found that licking each suction cup (or lightly moistening with fresh water) cn help to promote adhesion. If mount slides, dry and reapply. ALWAYS TEST before using. If mount loses suction after a few minutes, inspect your mounting surface and double check it was properly prepped (Step 1 above). If the mount continues to lose suction, inspect the suction cups for sign of damage (tears or cuts in the cup and cause adhesion loss). How to remove
USE QUICK RELEASE TABS
NEVER attempt to remove the mount by pulling or twisting off as you may damage your camera or the mount. Always use the specially designed BRLS release tabs!
RINSE AND STORE
It’s not rocket science, but rinsing your mount (and camera) with fresh water after each use will keep your equipment at peak performance and looking fresh. Store your BRLS mount in a cool dry place. Do not store in direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to heat can soften the specialty rubbers used in your BRLS suction cups.
